Display Size:
The hardware size of your Step and Repeat will depend on the location of your event and your budget. Typical hardware heights are either 8 feet tall (standard) or up to 10 feet tall. Before considering a 10′ foot tall step and repeat backdrop you will want to confirm the venue can accomodate its size. Most venues will easily fit an 8′ tall display, it’s definitely suggest to call and confirm. Standard backdrops we produce are 8 feet tall with the option to go either taller or wider depending on your event. As for length of your step and repeat hardware, they can range from 4 feet wide to 20 feet and longer. Ideally, small groups of patrons will be standing in front of your banner, these small groups consist of 2-4 people taking the picture at once. The most popular Eventwall sizes we offer are our 10 foot wide by 8 foot tall units. Hardware Options of Step and Repeat Backdrops:
This is a critical detail we will be covering when choosing your hardware option. Eventwall display hardware comes in vary shapes and styles, some hardware options require installers where as others are tool-free easy to install. Depending on your time restraints and comfort level when assembling hardware, these are a few factors to consider.
We typically suggest a step and repeat unit that does Not require any tools and can be setup fairly easily. Both of our hardware options, Telescopic and Collapsible, have advantages and disadvantages, but our experience shows the Collapsible is the most versatile system that sets up the quickest and easiest. Additionally, the collapsible unit allows for end caps. End caps allow the fabric banner to wrap around the sides of hardware frame to create a seamless look on 3 sides.The collapsible unit has no loose parts or requires any tools to setup making it a premium option. It also offers the versatility to store, package and transport with ease. This unit is also ideal for future event use as its durable and dependable, it is dynamic where you simply have to produce a new fabric banner and affix it to the unit for a new theme.
Types of Material:
The materials that our eventwalls can accomodate are either the Non Glare Matte Vinyl which and Stretch Fabric Banners. The Non Glare matte vinyl is ideal for photo ops as it prevents camera flash from being an issue during photo shoots. The Matte Vinyl Banners are also a great option as they are cost effective and provide great print resolution for all styles of creative designs.
The premium option is our stretch fabric banners as the image quality and print resolution are of the highest quality. They are printed using Dye Sublimation and ensure vivid colors and clarity. The fabrics are also a great solution for camera flashes and the material allows it to be folded and stored with the display hardware. This is an optimum choice as the convenience for setup and takedown allow for a worry-free event.
Additional Event Products to Consider:
In addition to your media wall backdrop, many clients may consider using additional print components to showcase there sponsors logos or branding. One popular option is the Rectractable Display Unit (Rollup Display). It is a compact unit that comes with a small carrying case but provide a print area of up to 7 feet tall x 3 feet wide and package into a case smaller than 4″ x 36″.
